About this event: In this ESL session, we will discuss reasons misunderstandings occur, ways to be secure that you are on the same page as your teammates and how you, a nonnative speaker of English, can minimize and possibly avoid misunderstandings with workmates and superiors..
By attending this session, you will be better at avoiding misunderstandings with teammates and have strategies for confirming that you understand assignments, plans and project goals. You will be able to ask for clarification and review of points you are unsure of.
