In this ESL session, we will learn to actively listen for content and meaning during a meeting or conversation. This session will include listening comprehension exercises, commonly used vocabulary dictation, and peer speaking and listening activities.

About this event

By attending this session: you will learn the many facets of active listening, which include understanding body language, the importance of responding both verbally and nonverbally, understanding the difference between passive listening and active listening, and understanding the value of two way communication.
